I am a Scot - born in Lamlash, Isle of Arran, and brought up in Campbeltown, Argyll (the picture is of Campbeltown Harbour).
After a career in technology, that included a spell of 10 years in Saudi Arabia, in 1995 I switched to consulting and training on the human side of change. In 2008, I accepted an opportunity to work in Dallas, Texas.
Following my retirement, I returned to Scotland, and moved to the picturesque town of Girvan.
For most of my working life, I was priviledged to travel extensively, and caught the very healthy travel bug!
I am now a "vagabond retiree and dream-catcher", and no longer are my travels airport-hotel-work-hotel-airport toe-dips into places.
I confess I am addicted to travel, and I am endeavouring to visit as many of my "dream places" as possible - some of which are places I have visited briefly in the past.
I hope you enjoy viewing the pictures on my site, and find some of my notes helpful if you are planning a trip to one of these places.
I would also love to hear about your own experiences and recommendations for these places, and also receive any questions or comments you may have. Please use the CONTACT section for this.
